How to Teach Parrots to Talk
It is very amazing to find that some other living creatures that are not human beings and especially birds can talk. Most people do not believe this; this is the reason why there are very many researches on teach parrot talk over the internet.

Parrots are birds that present special capability over the other species of birds. They can imitate and memorize various sounds the way human beings do. These birds’ species are simply interesting because you can teach them to respond or mimic some sounds and words the way human beings do.

The most important fact to note about this ‘teach parrot talk’ is that the training is not quick and easy. The parrot is a bird and for that matter it does not have large brain that can memorize like a human being. Its brain is very small and it can only catch up very few things very slowly.

To begin the training you have to make a very careful selection of the bird. There are some species of parrots that are known to be quick learners while others are slow learners. The quick learners include the Amazon species like the yellow-fronted, blue-fronted and the yellow-crowned.

Some species of parrots also talk better than most others and they are therefore most recommended. The species that you should especially avoid include the ringnecks, lovebirds, plumheads, conures, lorikeets, Parakeets, alexandarine and cockatiels. These are referred to as the smaller species of parrots; they are very slow in learning and they do not talk well even after very intensive training.

Most people seam to be happy with the African Gray parrot that has red tail, it is very easy to train and it memorizes what it has been trained. It seems to be intelligent than the other parrots. All Amazons with yellow heads are generally good talkers. The Macaws are also good talkers but not as good as the Amazons; they have loud voice that is very scratchy and their vocabulary is very limited.

The Cockatoos are also generally good. Like the macaws they have limited vocabulary but their voices are better and sweet. Selection of the breed is the most vital step in the training of a parrot on how to talk. If you select a breed and species that is not good then you will be disappointed. If you make proper selection of the breed then the training will be easier and you will get better and positive results.

Another great selection that you should do is choosing the bird that has the correct temperament. Like the human beings, birds have a character; some are hot-tempered while others are shy and afraid. On the other side, others are cool-tempered, not afraid and they do not shy under all circumstances.

Teach parrot talk is not so easy or simple as it may be portrayed by some people to be over the internet. You have to be dedicated if you really want to get the parrot to talk. You have to search for that parrot that is aggressive and ‘talkative’.

In the training, begin with the simple words like ‘Hi’ or ‘Hello’. Continue this for some time till the parrot is bale to mimic or respond to them well. You can then gradually introduce some somehow complex words as time goes on. The training may go on for the entire lifetime of the parrot.
